Come and take part in Scottish traditional music sessions across Scotland in 2009.
Supported by Homecoming Scotland 2009 and organised by the Traditional Music and Song Association of Scotland (TMSA) - a programme of over 300 Scottish traditional music sessions across Scotland from March to November 2009.
The Homecoming Trad Music Sessions will -
The TMSA are currently looking for venues and musicians who are interested in taking part in the Homecoming Trad Music Sessions.
If you think you would like to be included in the project, please first read the appropriate Information Sheets (see opposite) then complete the appropriate registration form:
Musician Registration | Venue Registration
Registration cannot guarantee that you will be included, but we are seeking to involve as many venues and musicians as possible and will hopefully be in touch with you in the near future.
The funding for this project is primarily to increase the number of venues having sessions for visitors and Scots at home. However venues currently running sessions can join us in the worldwide advertising of the sessions by emailing details of the venue and sessions to homecomingsessions@tmsa.org.uk.
If you'd like to see pictures of a previous session project run by the TMSA, take a look at these photos of the McEwans Sessions that ran from 2004-2006.
